In a surprise last minute addition to the concert series Adam Baldwin will make his way to North Bay to perform at Chippewa Secondary School in support of Raven’s Flight, a fundraising initiative to support the return of senior football at Chippewa Secondary School.
Adam has been a mainstay in East Coast music playing with Nova Scotian rocker Matt Mays before building a strong solo career cemented by his most recent album, Concertos and Serenades. Adam has also toured supporting Alan Doyle and Blue Rodeo. Adam is making a special trip to North Bay for this fundraising event after he plays back-to-back shows at Massey Hall with Blue Rodeo. Adam will be performing as a trio supported by an incredible world class band.

Concert Series Dedication
I am dedicating the 2025/2026 concert series to my mother, Marilyn Carruthers, who passed away on Sept.20th, 2025. She loved live music and helped to instill that love of live music in me. This series features some of her all time favourite musicians. As I confirmed bookings for this series I would call her up excitedly to share the news. We got to see several of the same musicians this past summer in Nova Scotia.
I hope you all enjoy the music as much as mom did.
The legendary Nova Scotian musician Joel Plaskett will be headlining an amazing charity event for OutLoud North Bay. He will joined with another one of Nova Scotia’s finest musicians, Ian Sherwood.

Oct 26th features the pride of PEI, Lennie Gallant, and North Bay’s own, Daelin Henschel, as an opener displaying his wizardry on guitar. East Coast songwriter Lennie Gallant has released fifteen albums of original songs which have won him a host of awards and nominations. His song Peter’s Dream was inducted into the Canadian Songwriters Hall of Fame. He is an international touring artist and his songs have been covered by many artists, and he has shared the stage with several orchestras and with performers such as the late Jimmy Buffett and David Foster and his band. Lennie struck up a friendship with Jimmy and has two co-writes on Jimmy’s last album, and was invited to sing on it as a featured artist. One of Lennie’s albums also went up to the International Space Station and circled the planet 248 times. He and partner Patricia Richard also record and perform as the popular Francophone duo, Sirene et Matelot. Lennie Gallant is a member of the Order of Canada and has been recognized for his humanitarian efforts.
I also happen to be a huge Lennie Gallant fan!
